Oblivion - Topic Of The Year Edition

For Oblivion. And some other stuff, I suppose.

Exactly that. Possibly the most relaxing way ever invented to spend an evening.

I'm kind of interested in Soul Calibur 6 but no Hilde is extremely disappointing. I'll get the new Tomb Raider at some point. And RDR2

Good to hear you enjoyed it. We've just finished episode 2. No spoilers please! I've heard that it doesn't really get going until episodes 3 & 4, so I'm interested to see what happens next.

So far it's just... different.

We saw Venom.

It's ok. I think Tom Hardy was great and I'll definitely see the next one. Riz Ahmed, not so much. The humour was good but not as good as I was expecting. Or perhaps there wasn't as much of it as I was expecting.

Anyway it's actually really let down by the CGI final boss fight. I mean, it was probably worse than Wonder Woman or Suicide Squad.

Probably wouldn't go higher than a 6, even though it was pretty enjoyable for about 30-40 minutes.

That scene where I couldn't understand a word of it in the trailer - it was totally fine. I don't know if they fixed it or if the sound was just better. I can say that many of the lines you hear in the trailer, are lines in the film, but said differently for some reason. It's also a little funny that most of those lines (not the scenes obviously) come from like the last 2 minutes of the film.

Sounds pretty much as expected.

I really want to see First Man. Sounds really long and slow though, and I'd probably fall asleep. Maybe I need to go on a Saturday morning or something.

We watched Rampage this weekend. Mrs. Rev hadn't seen it. It was fine. I can't remember if I liked it last time, but it was definitely fine.

Played a lot more Astro Bot. Game of the year so far, no question. Shame RDR2 is going to DESTROY it, though.

Dark Souls on the Switch on Friday! Can't wait!

I thought Rampage was pretty rubbish didn't I?

we watched Rampage.

It was definitely heading for a showdown with AWIT, but then the last 20 minutes or so really rocketed it into it's so bad it's good territory, so it ended up as a 3.
Yup. Not sure why you wanted to put Mrs Rev through it. Unless you just felt it was only fair since you had to..

First Man definitely not a cinema film for me. A film about a man and his getting past his many flaws to achieve something great, is still just a film about a man and his many flaws.

but i found fights and getaways boring and already seen.

Your spoiler is definitely the only reason that it was enjoyable for 30-40 mins.
